Anastasia Beverly Hill Sugar Glow Kit
Is there such a thing as too much highlighter?
I am a
junky for a good highlighter, in fact I preach to all of my makeup loving
friends that no look is complete without a good highlighter. I have tried quite
a few since beginning my makeup journey. I remember seeing everyone on social
media talking about Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Palette’s. At the time that I
really started trying to get my blog up and going, I didn’t have any extra
makeup money laying around.
When I
finally did get money set aside for my makeup blog, I splurged and bought the
Anastasia Beverly Hill Sugar Glow Kit. It was $40.00 and worth every penny to
me. I was on top of the world walking out of Ulta that day.
The
packaging is stunning and feels nice when you hold it. Each pan size massive
compared to the Aurora Glow Kit. All of the pans are magnetic backed, so you
can make your own custom palette.
Sugar
Glow Kit was a limited-edition palette for the holidays. Only one of the shades
is a new release, Gumdrop, the other three shades had been previously released.
The
shades are stunning. Marshmallow is a creamy white pearl with warm undertones,
that I love to use in my inner corner and on my brow bone. Gumdrop is a pale
pink/light purple duo chrome, and is my personal favorite. Butterscotch is
bright light shade of gold, with bigger pieces shimmer. Starburst is a peachy
pink, with a metallic finish on the skin. All of them are beautiful once
applied to the skin, and they are so smooth.
Even after all the palettes that I
have now, I still find myself reaching for this palette almost daily. It is
still well worth every penny I spent on it.
